The primary school

Our International Primary School in Potsdam provides children with a German, multilingual, and international backgrounds an education within the scope of a high quality “All-Day-Program”.

The IGP’s educators see themselves as observers, conveyors of knowledge and coaches:

- to inspire instead of dictate
- to advise instead of decree
- to give reasons instead of orders
- to laugh with each other instead of at each other

In our spacious premises, which are equipped with high quality didactical school materials, up to 23 children are facilitated, grade-overlapping, by two educators.

Aside from the German core curriculum for the State of Brandenburg we instruct the children in the English language. Here, we differentiate between beginning and advanced level. The children are made literate in the German language.
